Diets don't work, Life style does.

I have posted & paraphrased these notes from an email sent to me by Jim Carrrey @ Chi Diet because it relates to what i have posted in the last week & sums up the lifestyle rather than diet. Dr Ann Wigmore was a pioneer in Raw Food in the Usa & Jim C quotes her & promotes her clearly great work!

Thank you Jim Carrey

"A raw food diet makes the body more alkaline. Being alkaline makes us more right-brained. Being more right-brained makes us more spiritual. After that, it's simply a matter of finding a balance between the right brain and the left."

"When I find myself wandering from the raw path I've noticed that my spiritual life wavers, too.

"I'm raw when possible, organic when practical and I pray over the rest."

Worry, stress & fear make the body more acidic;

The "secret" of Dr. Ann's Wigmores program was that she taught about the raw living foods lifestyle she saw it as a way to bring enlightenment to the people. Sharing her lifestyle message with the world was her Life Mission.
She taught that the "living" component in fresh-harvested foods was extremely important - what science now calls the biophotonic energy of the food.

The standard American/ European diet (SAD) dilutes our ability to digest food. There is also medical evidence that colonics and enemas are an quick, efficient way to remove accumulated toxins from the body, and speed the body on it's healing journey.

Lightly fermented foods, easily made at home, also have an important place in her program, as do dehydrated foods.

She taught the importance of proper daily exercise, and the importance of turning off the TV.
She taught that locally grown is healthier than imported food, and better for the environment.

She taught that how we combine our foods - what foods we eat together - are important to digestion and nutrition, too.

Its a "lifestyle" and not a "diet."
